The US National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration reports that this will cause warming seas and higher sea levels around the globe. Also the Arctic walrus population is at risk, as logged in Doomwatch Legacy by Sunstroke author David Kagan.

Many fishermen don't like walruses. or seals because they eat what the fishermen are fishing for. But the fishermen know how to use clubs, harpoons and guns. They know how to kill and they seem to enjoy it. Sad.
