researchers discovered that, based on how cats seem to understand that rattling boxes have hidden objects inside them, they may be acutely aware of some of the laws of physics.

Don't let those cats fool you. They only let us know what they want us to know. Personally I think they only humor us because we have thumbs to work can openers and to use knives to cut up the chicken or fish they want to eat.

I have three of the most loving and caring cats one could ever dream of. They act more like dogs than any cat I've ever had. They are so in tune to illness or when 'something is going on that is not pleasant' in the household or emotional feelings, and the first to come and comfort me. I have one that does tricks, like a dog. When ever I say 'Kisses" he jumps up on his back legs and does a dance and kisses me! AND, not just for food. They all come every time I call them and have never had one fight. I think they are so grateful to have a super loving home, with all the luxuries of a privileged child, and know they will NEVER be abandoned or mistreated as their horrific life before I rescued them 5 years ago. >^,,^
