Noted with thanks, Sunshine. I have never understood just what good a "nonbinding" agreement accomplished and I was a polisci major. Truly, if you understand and can point to one or more nonbinding agreements that have accomplished something significant and durable, do help my education and send on to me.

The Jerusalem Post had reported that the two ministers signed an interim agreement that would lead to a further pact. The National Council of Canada-Arab Relations said it finds it disturbing that the Canadian government would be negotiating a mutual security agreement with Israel and keeping it secret

As a Canadian, I find these news higly disturbing... The Conservatives have to go on the next elections... It's getting as bad here as in the US. And I grew up thinking I was so lucky to live in a peacekeaping country. This country is not the country I grew in any more.... The thought of a pact between Canada and Israel on these issues makes me sick to my stomach...

Marie: Harper is a bushite and also been to Bilderberg meetings and groomed, think I tracked back to 2003. he is also bushes lapdog for war and regrets not getting canada into the Iraq war. What is also scarey that at the last one in Istanbul, Turkey, the office of the Prime Minister of Ontario, MicGinty or a representative was there. This is very disturbing as they usually back both sides of politics and wars, and could be a sign of support for him if he wants to run for head of the Liberal Party, Dion surely is not doing a good job to say the least

Litha: I agree on Stockwell day, Harpers minion, however, the other issues being agreeded upon are much more worthy of notation (with exception to harper to me anyway) "counterterrorism homeland-security matters, boarder security, biometric identification", They have already made the small chips to implant for tracking I don't know if they have started using them yet. Hhowever here are sites on it presently, and also by country.

Carolyn: google "nonbinding" agreement ", the first one that comes up in reference is the UNITED NATIONS, as for those that have WORKED, someone else will have to do the research.

one has to wonder witht he power of the Israel lobby in the US, and which the US funds billions of dollars to , what is happening in Canada. This was supposed to be a secret meeting it got leaked out, I originally found it on a blog first, and tracked to mainstream media.

Thank you, Sunshine! Precisely: If a "letter of intent" is labeled "nonbinding" it means nothing...absolutely nothing. It is just a meaningless delay tactic that can be tossed aside at any time--especially when the parties want to appear as if something was going to be changed for the better when, in reality, nothing is going to take place. A non-binding letter of intent is nothing but a pacifier. Thanks!

I agree with you about all you said. I wan't online for a few days... It is obvious that the man is bushe's lapdog... I know he has to go at the next election but who is there to elect? I don't really trust any of them enough to give them my vote... Maybe it's time to give Jack Layton a chance, event this I am not sure.
