Shame the Mail hates disabled people in general so much (see this post: ). I'm slightly concerned that they'll be using this as a veneer of respectability over their usual "cripple scum die in the gutter" attitude.

But if a little good has been achieved then I am very glad. I hope it brings relief to sufferers and their families. Thanks Anna.

Great example of government-run health care. It took 3 years to get this ban lifted. Is this what we have to look forward to here in the US?

all that we here, in the UK, can pray for is that those who sit on the panel of NICE come down with extremely unpleasant diseases for which there is NO treatment and NO cure.
