Mozambique Vaccinates to Reduce Measles Deaths

Mozambique plans to vaccinate 3.6 million children against measles over the next five days in a bid to reduce deaths by 98 percent by the end of 2012, a UN official said Sunday.This will bring the southern African country closer to a World Health ........

They've have had a big impact already - looks like the target reduction is around 424, ambitious.

good for Mozambique, prevention is always better than watching people suffer and die unnecessarily....however, lets hope they/we can follow up and help them with food, water, shelter, and education so these children can have a future....maybe if parents have hope for quantity of life for their children they will cut down on quantity of children and be able to focuse their time/money/energy on those they have...and then maybe it will become a win-win for people and the earth....
