Interesting. I saw a TV program and Pica was shown. One lady ate a ton of corn starch every day.

Thanks Anna, a neighbor's dog eats dirt every day and confuses us, but the next time my nephew comes over I'm giving him a mud pie!

Some studies show that we are developing poor immune systems due to the fact that we don't ingest dirt naturlly in our diet, like they did in the past, before everything was sterilized and hommogonized and all the other ;izeds' that go on nowadays! Apparnently people got most of their B12 from the soil in the days that people just pulled a carrot out of the ground and gave it a bit of shake and then munched away without washing it. people living on the land used to be digging in the soil ever day and never washed their hands before they took out there lunch sandwhiches and so they wer eingesting quite a lot of soil every day. Perhaps we really do need that soil to get into our systems to make sure our antibodies get a good work-out! Many of my visitors who taste my cooking, would most likely prefer to go out and eat the soil, but they are too polite to actually say so!
