If you were a member of one of these uncontacted tribes Assurini, Tapirajé, Kaiapó, Kapirapé, Rikbaktsa and Bororo-Boe in Brazil what would you think? what would you do? how would you protect those you love? your traditional lands, medicines, culture?
Can we help protect these people from the logging companies whose sole intent is to decimate the soul of their rainforests and culture!

Thank you Anna for posting this - these people have survived on their own without any intervention and now the greedy guys have invaded their peace and their way of living - this is so sad!!!

Let's hope the educated, compassionate anthropologist can persuade the politicians in Brazil that people actually exist. It will be a crime if these people are driven off their native lands by unscrupulous corporations solely for profit$ made off the indigenous peoples there. Boycott any and all companies selling "exotic" wood.

That;s all they need, people coming in to "save" their souls, sell them some refridgerators, infect them with whatever disease the "civilized world" is immune to, and set up a McDonalds coming to the nearest hut or hammock to you! We may be advanced, but will we ever LEARN?

I was just going to say, "Oh Lord, the poor tribe," but Pam W. said it better than I would have. I agree with her a zillion times over.

I just hope they are not infringed upon by modern, sicko mankind.

I wish that if people know there are uncontacted tribes they'd just pretend they didn't and leave them alone.

The Evangelical devils will soon attack.
They are 'Christian soldiers', they will stop at nothing to force all free peoples to bow to their god...

Too bad, now despicable humans will find a way to destroy them :( Funny how our modern lifestyle is "civilized". Guarantee they are MUCH more civilized than us. They live how I dream of living.

Is there a way they can maintain their purity of life. Could we perhaps leave them untouched by modern horrors and hate.
