"Actually I don't remember being born, it must have happened during one of my black outs." ~ Jim Morrison ~

I was priviledged to see The Doors several times , up close and personal ;when concerts were concerts and NOT just on a big screen on a big screen .

Ah....I'm envious, Bruce...I would have loved to have been able to meet The Lizard King...A rare and beautiful tagic soul...Taken much too young...

True what you say about being up close and not up on a hill staring at either a speck on a stage or a bunch of screens...It's really not the same experience, is it...? I found that out when I saw The Who at the Shoreline here in California just after John Entwhistle died...It kinda turned what could have been an intimate concert into something like an impersonal outdoor movie...Ah, well...To get back to the subject, it seems a bit pointless to "pardon" a man for something that was petty to begin with and, decades after his death, really doesn't matter any longer...What does he hope to gain from it...? Odd...

Dang...I'm making typos all over the place, aren't I...? "...that IS..." Not "...that it..." Awww, never mind...Lunchtime...
