A seven months pregnant woman was pulled over for speeding. When she refused to sign the ticket, she was tasered three times. She sued, but the District Court of Appeals ruled that the officers acted within reason because she could have sped off.

Thank you Natasha!
Just for not signing? The officer had all her information, I am sure he could have sent the ticket by mail or have resolved this in a "nicer" manner. ~

You gotta read this, incredible nerve of these officers. WRONG WRONG WRONG. My first thought was "where could this possibly have happened? Some backwood county?" I read Seattle, Washington USA and did a double-take. If you read the article, the officer put his hand in and shut the car off, so he had the keys in his hand. The lady obviously wasn't going anywhere. What training (or lack of) did this office have? Taser was NOT necessary and she's pregnant too? Oh my God! I hope she wins a bunch of money.
